Miguel Sanchez
Nice article, could have used a proofread first. Although I did enjoy this: Quote “It’s interesting that this photo has been doing the rounds,” smiles Andy. “He was actually laughing because we were supporting Noel Gallagher in Glasgow and they were these guys in the front chanting ‘F’RABBIT F’RABBIT, GET TO f**k’. That’s what prompted the smile.”
Miguel Sanchez
Here's a good interview with Grant: https://www.stereogum.com/2050168/grant-hutchison-interview-frightened-rabbit-tiny-changes-scott-hutchison/franchises/interview/ I actually remember an Instagram post with those 6th album demos on it, hold on... Can only hope What Do You Meme? makes its way into the public consciousness which I'm sure it deserves Edited July 11, 2019 by Miguel Sanchez
gannonball
Hello to all on this thread. Must admit I had not listened to frightened rabbit much till Scotts passing and despite not being one for morbidity I can’t help but listen to them now and obsessing over some of the lyrics in light of the guys plight. Cant help but include them on a daily walk with the dog now. I had vastly underestimated the guys talent as well as the band.
.Stuart.
Much prefer the Julien Baker one. The Biffy version sounds like they've tried to put about four of their own recent 'styles' into it and not managed any of them. Not sure I'm looking forward to The Twilight Sad's version of Floating in the Forth. Some of the songs on that album have been absolutely murdered. I agree that Bakers cover is far better.Manchester Orchestra - My Backwards Walk is the standout. What a band.

I've only had it on the once but off the top of my head Good Arms vs. Bad Arms (sounds like an actual Fiskur song), The Twist, Poke, the Julien Baker and Manchester Orchestra versions and the interludes are my favourites. Head Rolls Off is a travesty.
The Real Saints
The Twilight Sad's version of 'Floating in the Forth' is not my cup of tea. That's me putting it politely. I apologise to those of you who like it. Music is subjective.

For some reason i’ve never really ‘got’ them despite being liked by bands and fans of bands that I’m fond of.

For some reason i’ve never really ‘got’ them despite being liked by bands and fans of bands that I’m fond of.It’s Twilight Sad as f**k. I love it, but can totally empathise with folk who don’t like the band that hate it. They’ve ripped it apart and made it their own. Dig the majority of the covers. Wintersleep, Ben Gibbard, Craig Finn and Juliet Baker are the other highlights for me.
Kejan
I haven't been able to listen to FR for a while, but MOF came on unexpectedly in a café about 3 months ago and I nearly started greetin'. I've read interviews since, but now to sound like a twat but I think I put off the grieving which sounds ridiculous for someone who I didn't know him, but loved their music. Stuck the album on when home from work and yup, waterworks galore. Feck, what a brilliant man Scott was. Grant plus the lads all come across as total gent oo. I really want to hear the new material and hope they are all well. What a band! Julien's version have to agree is much better than Biffy's ; but that Tiny Changes record is very nice. I haven't listened to them for a while, well

Been listening to this at least once a month since that Hogmany show. Remember shooshing everyone in the kitchen at the party I was at when it first came on.
