Rutherglen Glencairn 0 Kirkintilloch Rob Roy 3 (McGuire, Dempsey o.g., Aitken).

Two goals in the last three minutes (one a really unlucky own goal) gave the scoreline a harsh look. Rob Roy were well on top first half and deserved their 1-0 lead, but the second half was much more of a contest until the two late goals.

Glencairn used five of the u21 squad during the match, each of them got 45 minutes.

A good exercise for both sides, and nice to talk to Maxy again who always comes across as a nice guy when I meet him. Great to see wee Paul Finnigan still playing so well at 46. ;-)

Thanks for the highlights and match report guys, looked a very decent game played in a good spirit. Only thing is I kept getting mixed up with who was playing in the red n black hoops, its not too often we play against anyone with the same colours.
