Ayr v rest of season

Recommended Posts

Lets go back to the Stenny game earlier in the season. Moore and Preston rampant, Docherty and co running the midfield. This was on good pitches with good weather and a full team. On that form we wouldve comfortably beaten anyone in this league. Too late now for the league but we have the quickest forwards and best midfield in the league, we will win the play offs

Peterheid have the goals in 'em and if they can get their suspensions out the way before the playoffs, they will fancy their chances of moving on up with the Pars...

Best midfield? Really. Take it you weren't at the game today?

Not making any excuses for today because IMO it was a clear penalty. However when Ross Docherty plays we are a much better team. Despite my deep dislike for the Pars they have pulled clear and may not have mathematically won it yet but it's as good as done. If Ayr can take a fully fit team into the playoffs and play like they did earlier in the season then they have a very good chance of going up. Who are the possible championship teams we could play??

Ayr have been very inconsistent this season. After the game early in the season at EEP I thought Ayr were going to run us very close as tactically that day they were spot on, however poor results against the lower teams in the league have cost them dear.

We lost our captain, right back and lost our best defender out of the blue. You have to deal with injuries. Maybe if more fans turned up you would have a bigger squad?

This is the small time. Not enough people care for clubs to afford squads.

Great achievement for you to finally escape such depths.

Are there any townies who aren't deluded?
