1. Counting the genes is not how linguists, historians, or anyone else, define race.

2. I literally couldn't care less for the blood and soil nationalism of some Israelis. I find it just as repugnant as any other ethnic justification for statehood.

Your generalisations here are literally the point. Some Israelis defend it that way and call those who disagree antisemites. Millions don't.

Benjamin Netanyahu's classification of what constitutes antisemitism is no more authoritative than that of the defenders of the antisemite George Galloway, who willingly stokes up hatred against Jews under the proxy and dog-whistle of anti-Zionism.

I'm denying that Jewish is a race in it's own right. It's a religion, there's white Jews, African Jews etc.

Their reasoning: at the time these laws were passed, people routinely spoke of the "Jewish race" or the "Italian race" as well as the "Negro race," so that is what the legislators intended to protect.

But many Jews were deeply offended by that decision, offended by any hint that Jews could be considered a race. The idea of Jews as a race brings to mind nightmarish visions of Nazi Germany, where Jews were declared to be not just a race, but an inferior race that had to be rounded up into ghettos and exterminated like vermin.

Is Judaism an ethnicity? In short, not any more. Although Judaism arose out of a single ethnicity in the Middle East, there have always been conversions into and out of the religion. Thus, there are those who may have been ethnically part of the original group who are no longer part of Judaism, and those of other ethnic groups who have converted into Judaism.

Surely gender identity is a social construct whilst gender is a physiological fact.

There's been countless studies been done on the differences between men and women and they're practically a different species once you get down to it. The most fundamental difference being the care based morality women have; and justice based morality men have.
