Good to see Andrew Marr show/Politics Scotland had a balanced guest list this week.
Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo
I think we can all finally sit back and relax. Everything is in hand. I knew the people in charge would come through in the end. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-45697248
Detournement
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/sheku-bayohs-family-meet-lord-13333791 Sheku Bayoh's family have been completely let down. Sturgeon put on a sad face and said that she couldn't comment on it as it was an ongoing case at FMQ. No doubt as soon as the decision is announced she will order a public inquiry to take place in 2020 and that will be another two years that she manages not to talk about. That the Lord Advocate was allowed to drag this out for three years is shameful. A government with an ounce of decency would have told him to hurry it or resign.

Tony Ferrino
Has anyone ever died at a Tory conference? Nothing spectacular. Just sort of stopped living. And if they did, how would anyone know?

And if they did, how would anyone know?Bound to have been at least one Tory dying in a conference hotel room in some weird sex game gone wrong. Failing that, was the Brighton bomb not at a Tory conference?

BFTD
Anyone else being swamped with Tory leaflets at the moment? Three so far in the past seven days. The usual "Labour can't stop a seconddivisivereferendum, vote for Ruthdavidsonsconservativeparty", and a great one from our MP, that doesn't state a single achievement or policy but features a load of pics of him having a good time. Bless.

Guest
Has anyone seen the latest UK Gov statement which now has the Governments and security agencies of North Korea, Iran, Russia & China apparently behind all the cyber attacks that have been launched not just against the UK but also across the globe. Honestly, what utter and complete drivel. Do they think we're all idiots ? I can only assume that this nonsensical propoganda is part of the proposed trade deal that they're attempting to set up with the USA..................

We know that Russia has engaged in cyber attacks as the GRU hacked the DNC. North Korea is well known for their cyber attacks. Their favourite targets are South Korean bitcoin exchanges and there have been multiple reported attacks on those exchanges both successful and unsuccessful. That's not to say that others including NATO countries aren't at it as well. It's an ever increasing part of warfare now. See Israel with Stuxnet for example.
