"Oh look - there's Jeremy Corbyn.  Looks like he forgot to comb his hair today."

"Oh there you go again.  Colluding with the right-wing press against the first true socialist leader the Labour Party has ever known.  Someone who is prepared to make the fundamental changes this country so desperately needs - but that is not good enough for you, I guess.  I suppose you prefer a leader who wants to engage in illegal wars, be a complete poodle to the American President and not really do anything here that makes any real difference for the people who need it most."

"Actually no.  I was going to ask him if he wanted to borrow my comb."

The ever helpful BBC remind everyone what a ham pizza looks like

"Ham pizza 'force-fed' to Jewish pupil at Bristol school"

So some or all of his “close knit group of friends” tried to make him eat the pizza; nothing at all to do with the school as the headline would suggest.

Were it not for the existing frenzy this would not even had made the local newspaper.

I agree.  It is called bullying and could just as easily have been about mushrooms, celery or anything.

Having said that, I am not Jewish but if anyone tried to force me to eat a Ham and Pineapple pizza, they would get a pasting - it is revolting!

F*ck right off!!!  Nothing wrong with ham and pineapple pizza.

Pizza is the best food on the planet and ham and pineapple, whilst not in the top 5, is totally acceptable.  Some mushrooms would only make it better.

Okay, suit yourself.

I am simply reminded of the contestant on Masterchef who failed the ingredients round:

Ham and Pineapple pizza followed by pepperoni and custard.

This daily assault on Corbyn and socialism generally, is becoming rather tiresome to say the least.

Anyone with even half a brain can see that there's no anti semitic story here, only a coordinated attempt by the rich and powerful in the country who are using the right wing Labour party careerists as a tool to undermine corbyn and his backers, as they are completely terrified of the threat that he poses to their extreme greed.

I just can't believe that this "story" and "stories" keep on running when quite simply there's "nothing to see here".

Corbyn and his politics might not be everyone's cup of tea but there's no doubt that without the threat of a strong left there's no way that that the public servants would have been given their wage increase and there's also little chance that the minimum wage would have been increased.

To continue my rant on a slightly different tact, is this "trial by facebook" not also becoming rather ridiculous ? I mean, we're now heading towards a situation in this country where everyone feels a need to be offended by something and everything, I'm afraid for those of us who regularly use sarcasm, wit, innuendo or even metaphors, it's looking like we could soon be appearing at a sheriff court near you.

Free Speech, Democracy ? Don't make me laugh..................

I agree strongly with large parts of this post but disagree totally with others.

This is definitely a campaign against  the first genuinely left-of-centre Labour leader who has a reasonable chance of winning an election.
