It's really not as bad as it's being spun. If shops remaining open late is causing issues for residents and those residents are asking the party that they voted into office to do something about it, then they're quite within their right to do so.
Have to say I recently encountered a late night shop in Glasgow who were selling Vesta curries but only one brand of shortbread. You'll be glad to hear I threw up on my way out.

Looks like Bercow's jaicket is on a shoogly nail.

That saddens me - his contributions to PMQs very often make it entertaining and sometimes even worth watching.

Surely there are more important considerations for the government to be addressing at this time.

Good piece on Luke Johnson and more or less sums up the state of this country and why it's such a shambles.

It would be easy to have a bunch of wordy, pride comes before a fall type responses to Johnson's predicament but the thing that springs to mind most is "what a fanny ".

The Tories want shot of him because he actually makes Ministers turn up and answer questions.

Boris Johnson’s popularity is plummeting right across the board.  Mogg’s popularity also tanking now.

Hopefully Johnson’s inability to get what he wants will have a spectacularly awful impact on him.

Arrogant piece of work, and another business I avoid - Wetherspoons and Dyson being another two. It's amazing what my Missus achieves with our old Bex Bissell.
