Elgin v Clyde

Recommended Posts

I think the biggest concern for us today is the registration of players issue! I hope for a swift response from the club.

if your waiting for a swift response I would double it up with lord Lucan aboard shergar delivering the press release :)

sounds like we were a bit unlucky

but some serious questions 's to be asked why none of the new signings in the team ( not including Watson ) only two outfield subs ? so if we had three injuries a goalkeeper was playing outfield surely we Could have taken a couple if the under 20's

New signings probably travelled only to learn of the latest f**k up this morning.

From a large town, nearest senior team 15 miles away, potential large support, still shite and no hope of ever getting to the SPL.. Over the last 20 years we are still the superior team...

...is the wrong answer.

Morton: 13 seasons in second tier, 6 in third tier (two titles), 1 in fourth tier (1 title)

Clyde: 9 in second tier, 5 in third tier (1 title), 6 in fourth tier (zero, I repeat, zero titles)

League head to head: Morton 6 wins, 4 draws, just 2 Clyde wins.

Twenty years spent living in our shadow then, to add to your other 119 years of doing the same. Thanks for playing anyway.

Tramps??.........Chortle!!

Wasn't that long ago when the mighty Clyde let you keep the admission fee of Morton fans at Broadwood when you were on your knees ya d*ck.

Greenock..........the hellhole of Scotland.

It was much more recently though when Clyde took the Rangers (RIP) boaby and filled all their home jerseys with puffing Nine in a Row jaikies for a 'glamour friendly'. It also wasn't long after that when Clyde disclosed that they had been paying what they couldn't afford on their pathetic crowds, didn't pay their rent to the council, and sank to the bottom of Scottish football, never to return. And Morton's four easy wins that season directly sent you packing.

Gutted for you.

I noticed that you comfortably swerved the fact that we helped you out when you had the begging bowl out.

Did we or did we not help you from going into extinction ya f*nny?

Answer the question?

Answer the question?

Nope, because Rae bought the club with plenty of cash to spare; your contribution was therefore utterly insignificant.

Thanks for playing anyway.

Three wins and a draw actually. A last minute equaliser against Morton being one of the high points shows you how bad that season was.

VikingTON has been reeling off the same shite patter for years. Ignore him and he'll go away.

As for the game, hearing that we were 'unlucky' is of little consolation. It looks like we've shot ourselves in the foot with the penalty and the sending offs which is incredibly frustrating.

The current run of form is unacceptable and today's shambles only adds to that. Four straight defeats and only 1 goal scored in this dire league is laughably bad.

We are fasting slipping away from the play off spots and will now need to win virtually all of our games in hand just to get back into the pack with Stirling, QP, Annan.

Still people on here won't hear a bad word said about our hard working wee manager! It's like the games in hand are guaranteed points in the bag. Not with him in charge I'm afraid.

The only positive is we seem far enough away from the bottom to be safe but with the current squad that's far from good enough!

The results haven't been good lately but from what is being said it seems like we were very unlucky today with their keeper having a blinder.

As much as giving the manager grief about the result it should be the players with Bolo doing something stupid again after just coming back from his suspension, the keeper & Durie getting sent off & numerous chances being missed.

We fucking battered them the day. We had 9 men with a teenager in goals and we had them pinned in their boxes with plenty of time remaining. Two wins in our games in hand against shire and we are right back up there.

Suffering Christ.
