senorsoupe
We shall see how this goes. I liked Henry as a player, I also thought he was a good pundit but being a player and pundit does not automatically make you a good manager, see McCann, Neil.

highlandcowden
Was at the nantes-toulouse pumping on Saturday, bookies had Nantes as favourites despite their relative league positions but nevertheless that was quite a shocker.toulouse were dreadful
lanky_ffc
I know it shouldn't be a surprise that PSG are walking over teams given their firepower, but scoring 3+ in every game so far and 4+ in half of them is ridiculous. Hopefully a tougher test this weekend when they travel to Marseille, but they haven't lost to them since 2011.

Eednud
League 1 sides enter Round 9 or the Round of 64 of the Coupe de France this weekend. Started last night with Nantes defeating Chateauroux 4-1. Lowest level clubs tier 7 Olympique Strasbourg are at home to St Etienne on Sunday and ESC Longeau home to tier 4 AS Vitré also on Sunday. Only 1 overseas side has made it through to this stage, Aiglon de Lamentin of Martinique are away to Orléans of tier 2 on Saturday. Only one all League 1 clash, Toulouse v Nice on Sunday.
Mr. Brightside
Orleans will be disappointed there's no replays.

A few other smaller clubs are using stadiums of nearby bigger clubs namely GSI Pontivy who are hosting PSG @ home of FC Lorient. ASF Andrezieux are hosting Marseille @ AS St Ettiene. Canet Rousillon host Monaco @ Catalan Dragons Rugby. In a curious case Pontivyen are at home against Guingamp playing at uhm Guingamp's stadium.
GNU_Linux
Ended up watching Lyon 1-2 Strasbourg. Lyon so poor. Just awful finishing Even poorer considering Lyon had a full strength team as they take the coupe de la ligue fairly seriously as the club havent won anything since the coupe de france in 2012
lanky_ffc
Lyon must be an infuriating team to follow. They took 4 points off City in the CL and played some excellent stuff in those two games, but I've watched them labour to draws/defeats against bottom half L1 sides a number of times in the last season or so. Some very hot-cold players in that team and you get the feeling they're much more comfortable playing on the counter than breaking down an organised opponent. Mr. Brightside
I follow Lyon and yes they are frustrating as f**k to watch. Seemingly that can't motivates themselves to play against the diddy teams, which I could almost understand if they had players the level of PSG but coming from Lyon it's madness.
