The drafted QB will get around $22m guaranteed over four years, Kaepernick will get $11m this year and can be cut before his next season salary is guaranteed on April 1st each year. Packers signed Jared Cook, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year, $2.75 million contract. Saints signed DT Nick Fairley, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year contract. The Broncos and 49ers have agreed on compensation, but Kaepernick's contract remains a holdup. Denver wants Kaepernick to take a $5 million pay cut, and the sides reportedly aren't close on a restructure.
