dorlomin Posted August 15, 2016 Share Posted August 15, 2016 I had an immense time at Boomtown. Good crew, new faces, good times. Saturday was an absolute standout. Started in the Psy Forest with The Orb the The Egg and Guadi. Perfect setting, hot and under the trees for some very top notch electronica. Saturday night finished with a 1 and a half hour Leftfield set that pretty much melted my brain. The sound quality was very very good (real fear at the start given the tinnyness of the earlier act and some crackling in the soundsystem before they came on) but I spent several minutes picking my spot, afterwards I jokingly sparked up a fag (non smoker) to show my "satisfaction" of the music. Loads of good tunes all round. Dave Skywalker on the Friday, Shut Up and Dance on the Sunday then to finish off listening to my mates ban out the big tunes to end the Sunday was near enough perfection. Boomtown is now so big I can no longer rely on just wandering round to hook up with everyone. Seems I have to plan things now. Lovely weather and good cycling.
