Anthony Fitzgerald
He's had a slump in terms of goal scoring in an otherwise excellent season. I would play him.
Gaz FFC
If we don't drop him when he's going through a slump then when do we?

Hank Scorpio
Not playing Baird would be utter madness on Falkirk's part.
gav-ffc
Dropping the second top goal scorer in the league makes complete sense Imo.
Paco
Moaning he's only scored one goal this year? Our entire team haven't scored this year...
MrDust
Yep, Baird has only been giving 100% in 2016 in a few games instead of 110% The whole team didnt play fully well against Alloa, Livvy or Hibs, then two games of the 4-4-1-1 formation Time now for players to stake a claim for places as there will be changes and there are options from the bench, one thing for sure is Baird is starting if fit. Mr Bairn
Have the club confirmed either of the injuries or are they just rumours?
lewfal
Baird saw an upturn in his form after he was benched the last time. It should hopefully work again.
thelocalcat
Personally think if a striker goes 4/5 games without a goal he has to be dropped. Not because I think he's a poor player, more just a kick up the @rse.

Hank Scorpio
We haven't scored a goal since December 18th, and we haven't scored a home goal since November 24th. Luckily we've signed Panny and he's gonna be YAS.
Guest
Baird will play if he is fit, and so he should. I am looking forward to seeing how we cope with a "newish" looking side. We have got stale of late and I think a freshening up can do no harm. I would play McHugh beside Baird. If Vaulks is fit I would go with Rogers Muirhead Watson Vaulks Leahy Alston McGrandles Kerr Sibbald McHugh Baird If Vaulks is not fit play McCracken beside Watson. We will still have lots of strength on the bench O'Hara Hyppolyte Miller McCann Taiwo Gallacher Smith Mehmet

Shadwell Dog
That's why Baird is playing for us in the championship at the end of the day. He goes for spells when he cant miss and then has a run where he couldnt hit a barn door. You've just got to hope he gets back on a good run soon. Bigbrbairn
Think it says a lot when we can even consider dropping Baird. It is not that long ago when we only had one or perhaps two forward players. We now have a few options but it is Bairds work rate that would have him in my team every game
ToonBairn
Must win game for us this one. Recent break will have done us well I think (exception of PG) and would expect a bit of freshness to get us back on track. Who knows what Raith will bring. I would expect the normal defensive performance but any pressure on Raith to come at us considering their recent run?
Ro Sham Bo
There is no danger of us attacking. Our only chance of a result is a 0-0 draw and that will be what we go looking for.
Broken Algorithms
If Baird plays, he'll score, some of our more silly fans will boo, and he'll still be a class act and applaud our fans. He'll always be a complete hero to me.
