Just goes about his job well and at 9 million it's a good deal. 31 or so I think he is so would of thought he would stayed in Europe. But a nice pay check before retiring. Witsel went out their and then came back to Dortmund and they are doing good this season He`s a fine player but hasn`t really been at his best for a good while now. By all accounts has struggled with nagging injury issues.

China could be a lucrative move for him too. Being linked with a move back to Athletic Bilbao. *edit* also talk of Arsenal signing Yannick Carrasco. Ron Aldo
What's the deal with the Chinese league? Are they throwing money about again? I know that there was some sort of "tax" added to transfer fees which meant they basically doubled - sure it was something to do with the Chinese FA wanting more homegrown players to come through.
Barry Ferguson's Hat
Surely agents wouldn't just make up stories to try and squeeze more money from clubs, though. Must be some truth to it.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Elkeson (Shanghai SIPG) and Ricardo Goulart (Palmeiras) have returned to Guangzhou Evergrande as naturalised Chinese players. Arguably the two greatest Chinese Super League players ever will join Paulinho and Talisca at the club.

Sir Tarmo Kink
The East Asian mercenary season is coming to a close. Guangzhou Evergrande, who won the CSL 7 times between 2011 and 2018 are set to regain their title from Shanghai SIPG. They only need a point at home to Shanghai Shenhua who they will likely destroy anyway. 2009 winners Beijing Guoan still have a slim chance of the title. Shenzhen and Beijing Renhe have been relegated. Yokohama F. Marinos pretty much confirmed the title for them this morning, the first since 2004 for Ange Postecoglou’s men.@Eednud yer man Ange. However, they play 2nd place FC Tokyo next week and a 4-0 loss would hand the title to Tokyo. A win for Ulsan Hyundai tomorrow would win them the K-League, but Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors are a point behind them, both playing home games they are expected to win.
