People you thought were dead but aren't

Recommended Posts

I keep thinking John Goodman is dead. I could have sworn he died a few years back.

Me too. Oddly, I never seem to remember that he's alive. There must have been half a dozen occasions in the last couple of years where I've seen him in a trailer for a film or something and been surprised to find out that he's not actually dead.

You are probably like I am confusing him with John Inman

Big burly American who played Fred Flinstone and camp as a row of tents English guy from Are You Being Served are easily mixed up I find

I'm pretty sure he is dead

He was the subject of one of those eulogy shows on on Sunday night presented, funnily enough (see above) by Paul O'Grady.

He was a slimy b*****d but still funny.

Is Scott Allan still alive?

Don't think so as I've seen an apparition that looks very much like his ghost.

I refer you to strathman's post above- two different versions I've heard!

Did Brazil's other version involve chlamydia, by any chance?

Heard Patricia Routledge (aka Hetty Wainthrop and Hyacinth Bucket) on Radio Scotland this morning, which came as something of a surprise, since I thought she'd died 10 years ago.
