Born 1926, was more curious that he was born in Devon and never arrived in Scotland until the 1950s.

Was surprised to see a poster advertising a Jasper Carrott gig a couple of weeks ago, mainly as I thought he'd been dead for about 10 years.

On a similar note, I was surprised to learn that Eddie Large is still alive, though thankfully not working.
