Edinburgh City by name
I'm not aware of a planned pitch inspection at Meadowbank for tomorrow. The weather looks ok as well for the visit of EK.

Have City spent money on the pitch or something ? Didn't Meadowbank be like everywhere else when there was bad weather and usually unplayable ? Fair play for getting yer games on when abody else struggling.
Edinburgh City by name
It was ok for our home game against Threave the other week when most other games were called off. I posted then saying how well the ground staff at Meadowbank had done.

Patches O'Houlihan
BSC's twitter says pitch inspection at 09:45 Unbeleivable that nobody at BSC has noticed that Maryhill Juniors have got a home fixture ! It was noticed, and discussions took place between the clubs to resolve the situation. However it soon became apparent that the pitch was pretty waterlogged following the recent thaw, and the chances of any play were remote.
bpek
Leeds phil do you think the guys at bsc are stupid why come on and say something like that when you haven't a clue what's happening behind the scenes
Rab B Nesbit
Leeds phil do you think the guys at bsc are stupid why come on and say something like that when you haven't a clue what's happening behind the scenes Never mind what's going on behind the scenes there's a Junior side and Lowland League side listed as playing on the same pitch at the same time. But it doesn't matter because the park will be off anyway? Good grief ... And you had a go at me a couple of weeks ago because I dared to suggest that our game at BSC was doubtful! surely not!
Sorry but I don't understand why you wouldn't publicise agreed changes even if the game was likely to be off. Maryhills Twitter feed still advertising their game yesterday as a 1.45 ko so no discussion re changes of times seems to have taken place.....just the pitch being called off no matter what. Can't believe they're now essentially approaching it with the same attitude that you were shot down for a few weeks ago Rab. Based on the lack of plans regarding kick off time switches, they gave up on the pitch a good few days ago.
