rb123!
Can't argue with that. The covers though apparently worked on the areas which were covered at the stand side and the goal mouths as they were the only bits which were soft. Could the club not have got covers down completely over the whole pitch though, i'm sure people would have been more than happy to help put them down and then take them off. Also the inspection seemed quite early considering cowdenbeath probably wouldn't have been leaving until about 11.

callum-ayr
Heavy snow now as well, so if the pitch had defrosted, coupled with this heavy snow it would just be a mud bath I reckon.

rb123!
You would have thought so if common sense prevails, the earlier the better. But this is ayr united we're talking about.

We still have the postponed boxing day game against Albion to arrange. You boys can get to the back of the queue.

rb123!
Wonder if our game with albion rovers will be in doubt next week. To be cold with some sleet and snow up to wednesday meaning the pitch will probably be frozen. Then thursday and friday have to be mild allowing for a thaw but on top of that there's to be heavy rain. Could see that getting called off because of a waterlogged pitch. callum-ayr
If it did, with Cowden and Albion still to play a match, we should sort out some sort of 3 way match and get them all done at the one time!
CEMSFC
Even worse at Stenny Ours wasn't that bad. The pitch was fine till the snow got heavy.
