gavin_3110 Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 SNL playoff semi finals this evening at Kirkcaldy. Aberdeen beat Pirates after a thrilling 2-2 draw, Lynx netty had the game of his life. Kirkcaldy Kestrels dumped out on their home ice 3-2 by Dundee Comets. They took it in typically graceful fashion. A good tear up with ten seconds left, keeper involved and everything. Kestrels player then fighting with a fan in the penalty box, fantastic. All for twelve bucks, what an evenings entertainment. Considering going back up for the final tomorrow which should be a good match. Paisley playing Edinburgh in the Scottish Cup Final next Saturday at 6:45pm, in Kirkcaldy again. Very convincing home wins against Killie and North Ayr and away wins over last year's champions Kirkcaldy Kestrels and playoff finalists Dundee Comets. Look to have a good young team. A couple of notable absentees from last season but their replacements have stepped in capably. Hopefully still be sitting top come the end of the season. Home game next Sunday against Elgin, then on the road to Aberdeen at start of November which should be a cracking match for any hockey fans up north.
