Soon they set up their own home, and became 3, when Mrs Onion gave birth to a little one. One day, Mrs Onion was doing the washing up in the kitchen and Junior Onion was playing with his leggo on the floor. Somehow the front door had been left open, and Junior went out to explore. Unfortunately he strayed on to the main road and was hit by a lorry. He was in a terrible state, half flattened and had to be taken off to the local hospital. Daddy Onion was summoned, and went straight to the hospital and got to speak to the surgeon. He was advised to sit down and brace himself for some bad news. "Oh no", he asked, "is he dead"..?
