Cracking headline in todays hell

Dr Whiteford got called in to cover for a sick colleague over xmas as she is a leading breast surgeon

In all seriousness that's an absolute horrendous headline and accusation against a top breast surgeon.

I'm sure the Heil will be equally scathing when it comes to exposing all the MPs and Lords earning far more than £500 a day for dodgy directorships and "consultancy"

The other parties didn't get all sanctimonious about second jobs though, did they? Cosgrove missed the point on Radio Scotland earlier, it's irrelevant whether she was doing surgery or working in a shop, it's highlighted because of this......

She was on leave from being an MP and stepped in because of an emergency. If she didn't the headline would have been. Think the numbers were 8 in total over Summer and Christmas recess.

"SNP MP refuses to help NHS in emergency"

Maybe if the health service was getting run properly they wouldn't have to call upon MP's do emergency work for them you halfwit.

The Mail and the Record will try to come up with the worst they can find, or make up. Little wonder these rags are losing readers and cutting jobs. And then they go on about us running to call everything SNP BAD. If the press and the broadcast media actually made any attempt at balanced reporting then I would maybe see the point. But the crap in the Mail is a disgrace all topped off with rent a quote Baillie.

Another superb advert to join the SNP from The Scottish Mail...thank you.

The other story on the same day about the SNP MP who pays his wife £20k to manage his office.

Hurumph Hurumph ra ra......renta Tory boy quote saying disgraceful etc etc.

They did not check that the SNP MP only drew £27k as a salary [total with wifey's work £47k]

Just the £12k less than Tory boy draws.

His salary must be REALLY disgraceful then.

Good to see such a varied list of topic's discussed that are important issues to the people of scotland.

However i would ask why currency would be something worth discussing at this time as it is clearly not a currant issue or concern.

Except at Ibrox.
