Problem is his reputation follows him about, but surely there is a team in the Lowland League or a team in the East Juniors that are willing to give him a chance. If you're as good as you think you are, sign for a club in League 1 or 2 and put in some fantastic performances while getting paid more than you'd get on the dole. This will show clubs at a higher level you still have what it takes and they'll sign you. Hardly rocket science. Someone was on the radio a couple of months ago saying that Jim Jefferies was interested in him when he was at Dunfermline but Riordan apparently said he was better than that level.
