I've been listening to a lot of the Love + Radio podcast recently.  Similar to This American Life, it's more driven from the interviewees perspective.  Many are quite a hard listen but a lot of it a very interesting and off the wall stories.

Chapo is decent yeah - do you have a favourite? I think they're all pretty good but Christman makes the show. Also developed a bad habit of walking around saying 'I am Will Menaker' in his squeaky wee voice.
Is Cumtown quite similar? They mention it a lot but I've never listened.

"Hello friends..."

Lost in the Sauce with Patton Oswalt was my favourite ep on the Soundcloud. The Patreon stuff is brilliant especially the movie reviews, the 300 review and Snyder's dual obsession with fascism and dicks was so funny. I do like Virgil Texas although he talks a lot less than the rest but they're all really good.

Cumtown is kinda similar humour but much less focus on politics. It took me a while to catch the vibe but Adam Friedland's brilliant anywhere else I've listened to him so it's worth sticking with.

The latest Adam Buxton interview is interesting (IMO). American writer Michael Lewis, who wrote stuff like The Big Short and Moneyball.

The main thrust of the interview is about his book about a couple of  psychologists (one won the Nobel prize) and their work on human preconceptions and how they cloud our judgement. Links in a bit to sport, gambling and finance, even Trump/Brexit and the dynamics of double acts and relationships. Funny too, even if it sounds a bit dreary.

If you need to kill 90 minutes you could do a lot worse than check it.

Was about to recommend this too. Adam Buxton interviews are seldom boring but this one was really fascinating. Great stuff.

All the podcasts I listen to are fantasy sports related in some way. Joe Rogan is the only one that isn't.

Best Joe Rogan podcasts I've listened to recently are #1070 with Jordan Peterson and #1080 with David Goggins. Both fascinating listening for completely different reasons. I can't be arsed explaining them though - research them yourself you lazy c***s.

Athletico Mince dipped for me round about episode 50, but it's back on track more recently with the excellent Peter Beardsley stuff and particularly songs about Sunderland.
