A serious question about the original founding fathers of Rangers.

Did the just happen to be non Catholics by accident?

Strange considering they lived in what is now and was then inner city Glasgow.

Either way they founded a club that lasted 140 years before it died so fair play to them

What a pair of idiots.

You may actually be the same poster. The G&Gs have a long history of ignorant aliases.

They were from gareloch and believe one was from Callander , not surprising if they were all protestants Considering they came from rural scotland , but being proteatant had nothing to do with their aims of establishing a football team

And all their pals and neighbours were asked to help start a club.

But Moses managed somehow to miss out Pat and Seamus.

Really. This thread started because of my assertion that Ra Hoops were borne through bigotry and live in bigotry. Of course none of the G&G dolts can debate that so prefer to establish a thread based on nonsense.

There was nothing gallant about them, and they weren't pioneers.

Never really thought that about the origins of Rangers till K gave out about the start of Celtic.

So Moses McNeil and co get a team off the ground whilst all living down Anderston way.

Anderston being one of the biggest "Little Ireland's" in the world but Moses can't seem to find a Paddy or Seamus for a kick about.

Not as though Paddy or Seamus are Celts.

The Celtic story is 15 years away.

Thanks K, don't mind if i do a bit of research on this.

You should really blame Charles Green and his hilarious promises during the origin of your club for peoples continued focus on it.

Read the opening post mate, 'the original founding fathers' that would make Charlie around 170 years old now, I know he performed miracles at our club but that would take some doing eh!?
