they didn't beat a certain LL team in a competitive game recently... :whistle

tbf I wouldn't fancy playing them again anytime soon.

Were pretty unfortunate that day.

They'll be hoping the theory is true with east Kilbride coming up

Apparently EK v Rossvale was played earlier - finished 3-0 but Rossvale report it as being v EK U20s.

Also saw mention of BSC Glasgow v someone last week (opposition players tweeting about it). Anyone? Others will no doubt go unreported.

Another coming up:

Wednesday 30th December

Preston Athletic v Lothian United (7:30pm at Tranent)

Alloa Athletic 2 Whitehill Welfare 2

Good run out for Whitehill against Championship opposition in a closed door friendly. Alloa scored twice early in the second half to go 2-0 up but Tony Muir and Daniel McKinlay made it 2-2 as Welfare finished strongly.

poor old Whitehill- wait weeks to play Duns, then their New Year fixture is at the Pennypit in the middle of flood season! See you at the Council Facility at Ainslie Park on Saturday then, Rosewell chaps...

Is it Spartans home booking at their council facility or was there an antiques fair at yours? :)

I think you will find we have played Spartans at home already this season and this is the return fixture. I think you will also find Edinburgh City Council had a large stake in developing Ainslie Park and therefore it is a council facility.

Now get back to practising your butterfly stroke up and down the Lido, Ferguson Park, Rosewell, Midlothian! :P
