Just watched the highlights back, totally got away with it yesterday but we've been on the receiving end more often than not since promotion so will gladly take that. United looked really low on confidence and we did our level best to give them some but they're getting no breaks at all or luck in front of goal.

Also, our goal might have been offside- not sure anyone really knows what is classed as interfering with play now but Amoo is definitely in an offside position and in the keeper's eyeline.

Oh dear, what a pity etc etc.

I don't think the changes to the offside law apply here but it's open to interpretation. Howard Webb was talking about the rule change on the European Goals Show on BT Sport and in these situations it's about whether the player in the offside position makes an obvious action which impacts the ability of an opponent to play the ball. Not really sure he's made an obvious action which impacts the keeper.

Would blocking his view not count, though?

His view isn't blocked by Amoo at any point from when Doolan has struck the ball though.

As the ball is struck the only person blocking his view of the ball is the defender on the left. Then the view of the ball isn't impeded by Amoo as it goes through.

It definitely wouldn't have been offside last season, this season it's debatable.
