Antlion
I used to think Cameron was just a posh Etonian twat and a bit wet, but now he just seems constantly angry and a bit unhinged. Labelling pacifists as 'terrorist sympathisers' can be filed away alongside his comments at the UN labelling anyone who might employ free thought and question the official narrative as conspiracy theorists and extremists. Cameron is a scripted, stage-managed actor. On the rare occasions his personal views leak out ("green crap", "terrorist sympathisers"), the mask slips and the Old Etonian, right-wing wankshaft can be briefly glimpsed before his paymasters take him backstage and tell him to get his head back in the game before they release pictures of him rimming a pregnant goat at uni.
orlandoblue
is it likely that every single SNP MP will vote against the Governement? Are we really to believe that not one of them sees the merit in the proposed action ? Bizarre.
Glenconner
is it likely that every single SNP MP will vote against the Governement? Are we really to believe that not one of them sees the merit in the proposed action ? Bizarre. Not one SLAB MP supported a YES vote last year. Or so we're told.
Mr Rational
Not from where I am sitting it isn't. It will have been debated behind closed doors as a group, a vote will have taken place, the party will then vote accordingly. It's not that difficult.
orlandoblue
Also - why are people asking for a two day debate when the majority on all sides of the house can't be bothered hanging about to hear what people have to say for more than a couple of hours?

Mr Rational
Because some MPs are still undecided.
Mr Rational
So they are being whipped then? I'm actually unsure if they are whipped or not, I'm also just up as I'm in the middle of a run of nightshifts so I'm unsure if it's New Year or New York so to speak. I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you.

Zetterlund
Ad lib must be disgusted with his party today, surely he will be advocating talking very strongly to Daaesh?? Maybe if we'd strongly advised Assad to step down in the first place none of this would be necessary.
Granny Danger
is it likely that every single SNP MP will vote against the Governement? Are we really to believe that not one of them sees the merit in the proposed action ? Bizarre. Part of me wants to believe that all 56, including those not taking the whip, all believe that more air strikes are not the answer to the problem. Maybe their Scottish perspective allows/compels them to consider that killing Syrian citizens is not the answer to primarily European citizens being killed in Paris. BTW the SNP will not be the only Scottish MPs to vote en bloc.

Savage Henry
is it likely that every single SNP MP will vote against the Governement? Are we really to believe that not one of them sees the merit in the proposed action ? Bizarre. It's a three-line whip, so yes. Any SNP MP voting against the air strikes will lose the whip and most likely be deselected. It's desperately sad. Not insane, not bizarre, just sad.
