New players for Selkirk

People will be a bit cynical after the appearances of the likes of Russell Latapy, Benny McCarthy, and Kevin Kyle in the LL/EOS/SOS leagues over the last couple of years proved to be fleeting in the extreme. However they could be quality signings. Robertson was pro with Livi and Ayr just last season.

Be interesting to see how they can fund these players wages if not paying players as it is. Gary can no doubt attract but who will pay ?

Exactly what I was thinking. If the rumours of the club not paying players is true, how are they going to pay players who will demand considerably more?

Ambitious plans from Selkirk once again, but time will tell how it works out.

If a club is contracted to paying players and then fails to do so, would they not be in breach of the SFA licensing conditions and be in a position where the licence could then be suspended and their place in the LL taken away?

I would hope so. But then does the same apply to spfl?

not been around a pitch for a while that's why my old chum! I've missed you though x

That's a massive shame, you was always entertaining to watch, even sometimes on the football pitch. Hope you've not hung up yer boots pal.

If they don't want those players then allows them to leave with agreement and no payment, supposedly both win but Selkirk bending the rules to suit

money they don't have apparently! Don't understand how they can sign new players when current players haven't been paid yet!
