From a bit of googling it looks like Gary Gillespie has the record, 16 and less than 2 months.

Best information seems to be on http://www.falkirk-football-history.co.uk/ - also suggests there may have been a 15yo back in 18-something

The most definitive youngest Falkirk player was Jimmy McPhie who played Centre Half v East Stirlingshire on August 27th 1936 at the age of 16 yrs 2 dys, however that was a benefit so doesn't count.

And he was sent back to play for Denny Schools for a year and a half after we signed him after this game.

There was a William Lees who played for Falkirk v Grangemouth in the Stirlingshire Cup, but all I can be 100% sure about is that he is in the 1891 Census [Living at Grey Rigg between California & Avonbridge] as being 14, however he is in the 1881 census as being 5! So I just don't know his age, just know he was young.

The youngest League player was Gary Gillespie who debuted on August 20th 1977 v Berwick at home.

I have no idea who is the youngest Scottish Cup player, but Gillespie only played once in the Cup for FFC on the 17th December 1977, so it looks like Gallacher might be younger.

Anyway, thanks for the link to my blog.

NB I'd just like to add that Jimmy McPhie kept playing for us until 1955 http://www.falkirk-football-history.co.uk/2013/06/no-falkirk-fc-grave-jimmy-mcphie.html
