Why no boycott talk?

Recommended Posts

I think the rangers have been punished enough poor lambs

They've had to endure visiting parts of the country most diddy team fans don't know exist

They've witnessed a legend make a complete arse of himself and the job

They've had more criminals through their doors ( boardroom and stadium) than any other team

They've witnessed their clubs entrails being pecked poked and ravaged

They've been vilified by that corrupt and lying organisation that is the BBC

They've been attacked by various government and sporting bodies

Enough is enough I say don't you think they've suffered more than most fans could cope with ?

There are several incidences of clubs entering administration part way through a season, yet avoiding relegation due to points scored prior to administration.

Should we also boycott matches unless those clubs are retrospectively punished, or are some people just looking for a reason to stop attending matches?

2012 was entirely different, they were about to throw out the rulebook and completely change it to shoehorn the cheats straight back into the league.

The current situation is not only far less significant, but fairly unprecedented for the SFA, who haven't even addressed it yet.

All in all, settle down.

Those mentioning other clubs going into administration, or other clubs having no claim on the trophies are totally missing the point.

Gaz is right here in posing the question, although the circumstances are obviously different to 2012. I don't think anyone is seriously suggesting that trophies go to second placed teams. It's deliberately brought up by the likes of the Daily Record, despite being irrelevant.

There's a spectacularly high level of ignorance about it all, evident on this thread.

Has a boycott campaign ever actually achieved anything in Scotland?

Weren't you around here in 2012?

Don't think for 1 second that all those chairmen were actually gonnae make the new Rangers start in Div 3 until fans started threatening to boycott.

It wasn't a boycott campaign so to speak. More of a threat.
