Basically, after the Killie game (which I was unable to attend due to work) Mr G took to Twitter to question why I was so quiet on the forums when I usually 'defend' Hartley an obviously the display against Killie was insipid.

Anyways, I was with my mate at the time and he told that that I was causing a stir on twitter. I was confused because I don't really post on twitter so asked on TDB forum, who's got so upset that they've taken to twitter to have a go at me over a game I couldn't even attend! Mr G held his hands up and said he was just joking before demanding to know who the grass was on twitter.

For what it's worth, I've never seen the messages about me because it's a locked account!

It's all really sad (on both our parts) when I type it out like that, but that's the story.

Cheers for putting me straight. Deefiant clearly isn't as much as a nosey c**t as me.

At risk of lighting the touch paper, when you look at the match stats were we really as bad as people seem to think?

We had 55% possession, 12 shots (9 on target) and 12 corners.

I also think people are too quick to get on the players' backs when they start passing it around in defence. If they lumped the ball up the pitch, people would still moan and demand they "get it on the deck".

I had to make do with bbc/official live updates and I got the impression we were well on top which obviously isn't the case according to some on here.

As soon as that 1st goal went in I knew we wouldn't win. At the same time I knew we wouldn't lose.

Paul Hartley, draw specialist.

Just watched the goals on YouTube.

Thistle player can't believe he was allowed to score. Far too simple a header. For our goal, the Thistle defence was raging at the linesman, looking for offside, when they should have been raging at the left-back who was just casually hanging around in the 18-yard box playing everyone onside.

At the time it looked like Hemmings would f**k it up and watching it back doesn't change that - seemed to take an age over getting the shot away

That explains Booth's reaction in Grandosaur's pic :(

Only just watched the PTTV highlights and read this thread as I was away for the weekend, after seeing the goal live stats (normally more accurate than the BBC) that said Dundee had 25 shots, 20 on target and 12 corners, I was expecting to read about Gallagher having the game of his life, so I'm guessing those were wrong or most of the shots were trundlers?

Also surprised at the lack of mention of Doolan's miss not long before half time, that looked harder to f**k up than to score, the Dundee player laid it on a plate for him.

I take it you mean the back heel thing he attempted in the first half?

Still can't believe how easy it was for Partick to go ahead.

Had we defended that, we'd likely have went on to control the game.
