The James McClean Sponsored Poppy Thread

Recommended Posts

I've noticed portakabins on both Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street in the last week, both of which are selling all manner of poppy-related goods - tshirts, hats, hoodies, etc.

Is this now a thing? I've never noticed anything like it before.

There's a stall in the Overgate in Dundee selling this shite. Mawkish dreadful pish.

It was of course doing great business when I passed.

I don't really see a reason why anyone wouldn't wear a poppy.

It's time to move on. Stop wanking over wars that happened decades ago. Let those who fought in them drift in to the annals of history. If not, then where does it end? Do we 'remember' the folk and those wars forever?

Who had a Dundee fan and an Airdrie fan in "you must wear a poppy" bingo?

I'm just waiting for a Jambo and a Rangers fan for the full house.

Wait a fucking minute; what Dundee fan said you must wear a poppy?

Edit: Just re-read the thread - it wasn't aimed at me so I'll let you off this time. x
