Nightmare On Craigneuk Avenue...

A Hallowe'en ML5 vs ML6 showdown doubling as a 3rd vs 4th six-pointer...has there ever been more at stake in a Monklands derby?

Rovers have made an unbelievable start to the season, but I'd call for some changes for this game. I understand why our manager has been starting Andy Barrowman consistently, but John Gemmell is our "big game" specialist and loves a goal against Airdrie- surely he has to play this one. I'd also suggest the addition of some experience and influence to the midfield- if not the player/manager then why not Mark Ferry to add some experience in front of the back four?

As the bigger team and having asserted their superiority at Cliftonhill last month, Airdrie probably fancy themselves. They were the better team in that game but they only got that win because of a couple of uncharacteristic defensive errors, and we weren't a million miles away from a result. Comparing notes, there hasn't been much between us: both teams have scored and conceded the same number of goals this season - an unlucky 13 - and while they played well against us, the only other teams Airdrie have beaten in the league have been Brechin, Peterhead and Cowdenbeath. Our rationale should be that if Stranraer can go to Broomfield and get a win then we can too, as long as we stay on top of the schoolboy stuff and take advantage of any Neil Parry clangers.

Getting the conversation started early; this is going to be a cracker.

Halloween party and football training for kids of BOTH teams pre match. Prize for the best dressed from both Airdrie and the Rovers.

'All Airdrie Aces are invited along to the next Aces event which is a Halloween Party from 1:30pm-2:30pm in the Joey Rowan Suite at Excelsior Stadium.
The theme for the event is Heroes and Villains and there will be prizes for the best dressed supporter of both teams. There will also be the chance to go on the park before the game and take part in a 'thrilling' surprise!
For the benefit of all adults, the bar will be open in the Rowan Suite during the party 'smile emotico

I've never seen the Rovers not lose at this stadium so I'd regard a draw as a great result.

You saw us beat QP 1-0 there last season- Scott Chaplain scored a brilliant header. We have won 3 out of 3 at Legoland under Darren Young, if you include beating Airdrie on penalties.

Bollan to cave to fan pressure and play 0 - 4 - 6 with four wingers and 3 U13s thrown in to make their debut. Get beat 8 - 0 but fans to be happy because we passed the ball and the youngsters tried hard.

Would settle for this, TBH. Weirdly 8-2 would be better than 8-0.
