Hopefully the team can give you a few reasons to hate them before the end of the season.

We're in outstanding form, and it's very encouraging to see us get another win and clean sheet ahead of what's going to be a tough month. A result at home to Cowden isn't out of the question; anything from Airdrie, Ayr and the Pars will be a huge bonus. The priority for the next few games must be keeping everyone fit and suspension-free.

You can beat us in April if we're 10+ points clear.

That was desperately poor stuff from us on Saturday. I thought we had turned the corner with 7 points from 9 at the end of the quarter which coincided with key players returning from injury but it's starting to look like a flash in the pan. The past couple of games we've carried very little threat going forward. On the plus side our defence looks a bit sturdier than it did earlier in the season despite a couple of lapses on Saturday. I think Perry has done well in the past couple of games and will hopefully prove some people wrong.

What is the story with Dale not getting an opportunity? Sure, he hardly set the heather alight in the games he did play earlier in the season but we've been crying out for some energy in the middle of the park. Tiger looks like he's been towing a caravan behind him all season and was rightly dropped to the bench, however Euan Smith and Darren McCormack were not the answer. With Shields and Thomson out it was hard to see where the goals were going to come from. Jacko worked hard yet again but hasn't scored with any kind of regularity for about two years now. Other than Craig Johnston, who is raw and has only been getting the last 20 minutes of so, we don't have any natural wingers.

As for Buchan, he is still here but not making the bench. He was certainly in the stand at Airdrieonians last week anyway. Unless he is going to be used as a striker he is probably surplus to requirements.

A football snob fae Cliftonhill !!!!! :lol::lol:

To be fair, an oxymoron is still an oxymoron even if the phrase makes sense in context. "Junior" and "super" are directly contradictory words, so Bold's point is valid.

This must stake a claim as the most exciting Brechin vs Rovers thread ever.

Fair point.

You have sussed out my cunning plan to deflect attention away from our team's current dismal form !!! ;)
