Glenconner Posted October 22, 2015 Share Posted October 22, 2015 In the end even Juniors teams with more than average cover, Petershill and Benburb to start with, didn't gain anything crowd wise. The crowds went south decades ago. If the grounds hadn't been pulled down they'd have fell down. Best hope for most clubs is the Petershill route, astro turf, bit of cover and floodlights, even better if the local taxpayer is coughing up. Btw, i spoke to a committee man recently who said his team has had a 50% increase in crowds this season. Crowds have went up from 20 punters to 30.
