bc57
Took in Gow v St Rochs tonight. Away team deservedly won 2-3. As bad a half as I have seen all season culminated on a defensive mix up by Gow allowing St Rochs to take the lead 5 minutes before half time. Both teams lost a player with bad leg injuries. 2nd half much more entertaining. Lots of 'confrontations'. St Rochs keeper taking the bait from the Gow bench. Gow equalised and then away team went 1-2 up with an absolute screamer. Great shot from well outside the box. Back came Gow with an equaliser but then lost another goal within about 90 seconds. St Rochs 3rd created with a lovely piece of football by their sub (no 8?). Witnessed a worse miss than the one seen on Sunday. Gow number 10 the culprit. Managed to scoop the ball up and over the bar of an open goal from about a yard out! Surprisingly no red cards.

Glenconner
The old Candy are quietly sticking those wins away. Be the first time they've got promotion and not been relegated the falling season since 1979. Hats off to the manager and players.

Hong Kong Phooey
Great result for The Gow tonight. Beating Wishaw 2.1 at Wishaw. Keeps our survival in the league alive but dented Wishaws hope of promotion.

Great result for you guys, must admit I didn't think you would beat Wishaw but just shows how tight this league is. It's all in your own hands now as they say. Carluke must be feeling a bit nervous after tonight I would think.
Hong Kong Phooey
Don't think anybody was expecting us to win. Especially with the players we had out injured. Makes a good end to the season. Top and bottom.
Hong Kong Phooey
Another good 2 nil win for The Gow tonight against Rossvale. Good to see Jacko back helping Rab out on the sidelines. Hope he decides to continue after the end of this season. Another 2 home games against Nielston and Vale of Clyde to stay in this league. Great performance tonight lads. kristopher.1
Rossvale need Lauchie back players aren't playing for new manager same players challenging for league with Lauchie now have only won two games since new manager has took over ... Worst thing that's happened is letting him go they could have won league with him as gaffer wrong decision from Rossvale
meanmistermustard
Honestly thought Maryhill had blown it after losing 2-1 to Rossvale a few weeks ago. 4 league wins in a row and all in our own hands somehow, just got to beat Burgh away.

Looks like some new players from the last time. Did the previous manager take some away? Wee captain that played against us wasn't there last night.,played centre back.. Good player.
