Andy Murray Latest and General Tennis Chat

Yeah Isner too good in the end. He surely wont be troubling the second week though, never mind the business end of the tournament. Expect Sinner to mop him up no problem next round.
Sore one for Murray, this was a kind draw and he couldn’t take it to a fifth set. Back to the hard court for Andy now, he’ll surely be at the US Open. Beyond that… who knows.

Probably the best all-round performance I’ve seen from Isner - prime Murray probably has just enough to deal with him, but someone like Isner serving at 73% first serves in is borderline unplayable.

I thought Isner's serve was incredible. You'd likely be hard pushed to find anyone that could live with that tonight. But at least Andy is Scottish again.

Isner more than played to his strengths today and Andy Murray of a few years ago wouldn't have given half of the chances he took. A deserved winner by playing the Andy of today. His on court post match was understated with a wee bit of class.

Angelique Kerber is in the next round so swings and all that.....

Williams and Murray going out so early is sad to see from two greats of the game. They're both long past it and should have gave up a few years ago instead of trying to flog a dead horse. Seeing them play in a Grand Slam and be out by Wed of 1st week is a tarnish on their legacies. It's like seeing the likes of Kevin Kyle and  Craig Beattie at Somerset and just wishing they'd went out "on top"

Don't really agree to be honest, if anything I find it commendable. Neither need the money and professional tennis is incredibly punishing physically, they must be doing it because they enjoy it.

Frustratingly clinical stuff by Isner last night. No complaints he deserved that. Thought at the end of third we might have been in for one of those nights, but the break in the fourth felt very ominous. Really classy post-match from Isner too to be fair to him.

GBs Boulter on centre today against Pliskova. Kyrgios v Krajinovic over on Court 2 could be worth a watch, both men having played five sets in R1.

Great win against a tough opponent, and well deserved. First ever time in a grand slam third round, she's got a great chance of getting to the second week now. Go on Katie🤗

That was the sixth seed she just beat there. Sara Sorribes Tomo or Harmony Tan in round three. She'll fancy herself against either of them.

This match between Draper and De Minaur is an utter slugfest. Draper took the first set 7-5, second set on serve so far.

Was just coming on to say it’s night and day to watch from the Isner shitfest last night.  Some great stuff on show.

Draper playing really well.
