Was on the Scottish Borders Brewery Game Bird earlier as well as Drovers 80 Bob then Peter's Well & finished off with a couple of Abeam (I think it was called) bloody lovely.

Stewarts 80 Bob is a favorite of mine but there's far too many to shortlist it down to a top 20. I can see why the OP had difficulty.

My local, has loads of cracking ales from all over the UK so I'm forever dipping my toes in different pints (am I doing it wrong?). I find that a lot of Scottish brewers seem to go for the lighter ales which I like on hot summer days. But I prefer the darker brews during the other 360 days.

Great idea for a thread, well done for having them in no particular order, but honestly, Deuchars IPA is a disgusting shambles of a beer. It has no taste, no body and barely enough alcohol to even be called a beer. It would rate in the worst ten beers I've ever had, and that includes lagers.

Brewdog - Punk IPA

Brewdog - 5 a.m. Saint

Cromarty - Happy Chappy

Broughton - Dark Dunter

Broughton - Exciseman

Broughton - Old Jock

Cairgorm - Trade Winds

Arran - Blonde

Inveralmond - Thrappledouser

Fyne - Jarl

Fyne - Maverick

Williams - Perfect Storm

Williams - 7 Giraffes

Williams - Scottish Session

Williams - Midnight Sun

Sulwath - Tri Ball Tribute

Stewart Brewing - Hollyrood

Edinburgh Brewing - EPA

Ayr Brewing Co. - Rabbies Porter

McEwan's - Champion

This list would be different if I did it tomorrow. As has been mentioned, this is a great time for Scottish beer. :thumsup2

West Munich red is comfortably the best beer in Scotland.

Schiehallion, Innis and Gun rum, then oak finish respectively, then probably Orkney's Dark Island.

St Mungos is a mediocre lager; Schiehallion shows how it should be done.

Anyone who's included Brewdog needs to have a f**king word.

Disagree, may be hipster as f**k but some of them are pretty nice - Punk IPA and Dead Pony Club spring to mind.

Innis & Gunn Original (toffee flavoured one) is good.

Really enjoy West beer as well, the draught one that I think is simply called "West" and is served in a German style glass with a handle always gets me absolutely pished
