bobby carlos
The opposite of the worst places you've visited. Worked up north in a place called loch inver, nice beach up the road, boozer did good food and live music, chippy van came round every other night and the RBS bank decoration is looking quality. Would love to go back to Bled in Slovenia as well; went on a package holiday when I was about 9 and even then i was struck by how pretty it was, would appreciate it more now. Tight minge
Best places I've lived are Budapest and Ho Chi Minh. Indonesia is pretty decent. Pretty Much anywhere in Sourh East Asia (except the Philippines). China is decent (as an expat), Shanghai being excellent.

Stayed in the big house that was the final scene in Casiono Royale, the Bond film, as a present for my wife's 50th. 22 rooms in it, all valued at £1.1M Euros each. stumigoo
I have loads of favourite destinations (Munich and San Francisco are my top two). In terms of what looked the nicest it has to be said that the walk along the river towards the castle and old town in Salzburg in the sunshine is as beautiful as it gets. Savage Henry
In terms of atmosphere, central Tokyo, Paris and San Francisco stand out to me. Aesthetically, Barcelona, Istanbul and the Mekong River, depending on my mood. South East Asia, when the sun is going down and you're near the water, is very hard to beat. A lot of it has to do with weather. Istanbul in the snow is glorious. New York in the rain. Tokyo in the rain. Barcelona and San Francisco in the sun.
