Lex
D Fletcher (When at Man U), S Fletcher, A Hutton and that's just for starters. We could also throw in the likes of Mulgrew who takes up a place when injured and that basically blows all your arguments right out the water old chap. D Fletcher, Hutton and S Fletcher all started for their EPL teams last weekend. Mulgrew is a regular for Celtic when he's fit...

We could also throw in the likes of Mulgrew who takes up a place when injured and that basically blows all your arguments right out the water old chap. Ehm, what? Darren Fletcher played over 30 times for United the season he became a Scotland regular, Steven Fletcher has played >30 games a season every season he's been fit since his Scotland debut, Hutton, with the exception of one season has played >25 games a season. Mulgrew came in and was fit to play, and, as far as I'm aware, doesn't play reserve football? Gauld has played half an hour in a handful of first team games. So, still awaiting you to provide the 'half the pool have been playing reserve football', 'old chap'.

KnightswoodBear
Got absolutely hammered prior to kick off to cope with the nerves. Did we win? Fletcher hat-trick and a brace of Lewandowski OG's before HT saw us run out 5-0 winners. Southern Ireland capitulated 4-0 to Ze Germans and we're all looking up flights and digs for France next year mate. You missed the party.

Savage Henry
The fact that Ryan Gauld ripped the pish out of most Scottish Premier teams at the age of 16 yet he still fails to feature in the senior Scottish set up kind of tells it's own story ! No he didn't. He looked a very good player to those who saw him regularly, hence his big money move. But if you watched him on one off occasions, he was inconsistent. He actually did very little of note against Ross County. That doesn't make him a bad player, but he certainly didn't "rip the pish". With a sprinkling of first team appearances to keep his apetite . He has chosen to develop his career at a club with coaching standards far superior to the mundane Scottish system, knowing full well that his time will come. The Scotland set up just flatly refuses to have faith in youth and doesn't even contemplate giving youngsters the chance to show they are good enough. This actually I agree with. jamamafegan
I was at Hampden last night, scenes for the Ritchie goal - we were seated right behind that goal. Scotland deserved to win last night but didn't deserve to qualify. Simple as that.
