nofixedability
That header early on set the tone I felt, watching it back on the highlights it really was a clear chance to score and the guy made a hash of it. After that Brechin dominated but at no point at all did they look like scoring. First Forfar attack, first goal, nice work from Foxy and Young (in a strange advanced position all game) with a fine header. Second goal killed the game, Brechin never looked capable of scoring nevermind getting two. Thought Andy Black looked really good in midfield, well worth another run out there rather than at right back. Brechin looked decent but a combination of letting in easy goals and no cutting edge is absolute death at any level.
theoriginalhedge
. Forfar in the first half could not handle the surface at all, and were fortunate to score with their first attack of the match. Tell me exactly what was wrong with the surface????? It was pissing down and blowing a gale , but the surface looked fine to me .

The pitch did not even seem to cut up so well done the Groundsman. The difficulty Forfar had to handle, which they did, was facing the driving wind and rain.
