Barrfields_Largs
Was thinking about this at the game on Saturday, and I'd be interested to know how many current junior players are playing for clubs they supported prior to playing. There surely can't be many. I'd imagine there's some great examples from back in the day, but it must be a dying breed now.

Marlowe
Actual fans or just "people from Ardeer? Quite difficult as only bunny rabbits come from Ardeer, hence Cuninghame aka to the Romans, the sandhills full of coonies.

Auld Heid
Turning this slightly on it's head - over the years we have been luck that a number of our players have taken the club to heart and a regular visitors at Linlithgow. These players are welcomed back with open arms by all. Several have also come back and provided sponsorship via their companies. With Steven Cairns from MVS Commercials one such example sponsoring the back of our shirts. One particular case was Keith Hogg arrived and his parents followed him home and away in support of their son. When he left they stayed and every Saturday are at Rose games. Indeed his mother is a regular helper in the pie hut. The same could be said of Tanks parents who are still regulars Edited August 31, 2015 by Auld Heid

Hertha/BJFC1938
In the 90s we had a striker called Craig Shanaghey who's house was literally the closest house to Bellsdale and a short throw in from the turnstiles. Beith born and bred and a fan too.

Jacktonite
Ben Lewis at Kilwinning, stood on the terraces as a young fan during my first stint ( think he has a photo of me and him together which he cherishes!) and now a star in the team Edited August 31, 2015 by Jacktonite
glensmad
But remember i was brought up in ruggie and i work there I knew there had to be a reason for your obsession. Deep down in your denial there's black & white blood flowing through your veins, go on, admit it. ;-)
