Ken Fitlike
Near enough every other club do it bar mine and yours due to police not allowing it for fear of trouble Why's that then?

CityDave
Parading the trophy in a open top bus is embarrassing. So you would discourage the small teams from showing the towns and cities where they came from a trophy they had either never won before or had not won for a generation. Teams like St. Johnstone, Kilmarnock or St. Mirren for example don't win trophies every season so don't take it for granted, they want to party like they might never get the chance in their lifetime again. The other side of it is how badly Celtic fans take a rare defeat could be similar in an emotional swing to the joy a diddy fan from Perth or Paisley does when they actually win a major trophy. As a Celtic fan you do seem incapable of understanding what it feels like for a small team's supporter to have finally won something after years and years of failure. To put it in perspective imagine if Celtic won the Europa League or even the Champions League in this day and age and you might just get it. Drew Brees
We're talking about Aberdeen here, 2 stars on their crest etc etc parading the league cup.

oddly optomistic
Don't know about other Dons fans but winning the league cup was certainly the most embarrassing day of my life.Yeah, all the people lining the streets looked well gutted. You could tell they were secretly wishing they'd got booted out the cup at the semi finals to spare the shame
The_Kincardine
Sandball fights...classy fans https://twitter.com/JamesRoss1903/status/642702977057337345 With the sand-throwing and the wee sheepie in the red hoodies at 0.08 obviously going for a long-range gob it's clear the kissing cousins deserve each other. You could tell they were secretly wishing they'd got booted out the cup at the semi finals to spare the shame I just wish it had descended into mass violence and an exchange of missiles and cups of piss. Embarrassing we just aren't clever or intelligent enough to compete with Celtic in some areas.

More embarrassing than Celtic, Celtic with the one star for winning the European Cup getting pumped out of the same competition by Morton that season. bennett
Parading the trophy in a open top bus is embarrassing. I'd imagine that would get boring after a while, not for diddys like you, for successful clubs. 10 titles in the last 15 years is a bit much, we'll stick to a lap of honour at hampden and parading the trophy at paradise. You get the bus out for beating Caley thistle on penalties after a boring 0-0 draw Big time. You're double European trophy winners must've had a shiver of embarrassment with that one. We're talking about Aberdeen here, 2 stars on their crest etc etc parading the league cup.Your team lost it happens, get it over it and dry yer eyes. bhoy who invented weetabix
As I stated in the post Ken . Due to fear of trouble Your lot had one planned if you won the 2008 UEFA Cup did you not? I think a combination of the result and, ahem, other events down in Manchester kind of fucked that
CityDave
As I stated in the post Ken . Due to fear of trouble So a happy joyful celebration for the team around the streets of Glasgow showing their fans a League trophy or a Scottish Cup is not allowed for fear of trouble but yet hate merchants like the OO and the SDL are allowed because of freedom of speech and there is even more possibility that there will be trouble, what a strange upsides down world we live in. At some point Partick Thistle might win a trophy, will they be banned for fear of trouble if they took an open top bus around George Square and Argyle Street? Why even bother going to matches if they mean so little to you? Boring FFS, hundreds of thousands of Barca fans line the streets when they win the league, doubt they have the same attitude as you
