Rizzo
Amusing to see the massive gulf in class between the two teams. Hopefully St.J add a few more in the second 45.
Alex_14
Why are the commentators so surprised at this? St Johnstone are regulars in the top six of our top league, they've qualified for Europe four seasons on the bounce, have beaten Rosenberg and have not long lifted the Scottish Cup. Sevco have failed to win the Challenge Cup in three attempts and failed to win promotion from the second tier, despite having the second largest budget in the country. Some basic research wouldn't go a miss. I think Sevco are c***s like everyone else but the history isn't overly relevant TBF. St Johnstone have been shit away from home this season, whilst Rangers have been scoring 3+ a game all season. It's not a surprise granted, but I don't think anyone expected this to be so straightforward for St Johnstone.

Greenlantern
Pat says the Saints are playing 'rope a dope' with sevco.
Deanburn Dave
Young Rangers players look not bad but St Johnstone defence much better organised. Numbers wise when Gers on attack they face 8 or 9 defenders. St Johnstone on attack its 2v2 or 3 v3. Naive in the extreme.
gastropod
Very cool first half from Saints..Glad the Beeb sorted out their dispute with Sevco so we could watch this. TA

calum_gers
Have Rangers actually got a central midfield? We left it at home. We've got Nicky Law on the bench though. Quite surprised at how bad we've been tbh.
forever_blue
Well played Saint Johnstone so far , hopefully Miller will be off for second half not been his night , can't see us turning this but we will see , in the grand scheme of things would rather lose tonight than in the league

sergie's no1 fan
Guys I am at sea so can't watch the match. Are St J being really lucky with the counter attack whilst being, in the main camped in their own box? Or did the dough boy forget to charge his magic hat? Nah StJ have been comfortable. Perfect away performance. Think Mannus has had 1 shot to deal with. StJohnstone look dangerous on the break. Plenty more goals in this.
The_Kincardine
So a thoroughly enjoyable 45 minutes. I'd put Ball in for Wilson. I'd also bring wee Barry on but not sure if I'd replace Oduwa or Miller.
BFTD
Not only are the pundits appalling to listen to, but they all look like they're falling apart. Aged about ten years since last season.

It's not a surprise granted, but I don't think anyone expected this to be so straightforward for St Johnstone. There's also the chance that the away side will turn up at Ibrox and play as if Laudrup and De Boer were still playing for Rangers (Stuart McCall I'm looking at you). I grudgingly admit that Rangers are finally turning into a decent team, but no more than that. The media narrative has been ridiculous.

Crùbag
That penalty claim... the Oldco Rangers would've got that awarded. Tough in the wee leagues though.. Speaking of which, Morton beating Well? I saw Spartans beat Morton last year. How bad must Well be?
