Wee bit of a fetish with Norn Iron politics, brother.

Get yourself a hobby before that stuff eats you.

I have a passing interest, seeing as how I live in it, but I'd hardly describe it as a fetish.

Those reporters at the station are absolutely phenomenal professionals. They're continuously reporting on the death of their friends by another ex-colleague and are keeping it together brilliantly.

They're maybe waiting for their chance to emulate their ex-colleague...

Lived in a flat in East Belfast years ago, 1980s.

Sent over with the work.

Nice people, politics in general was bonkers though.

Surprisingly there was still a few old communists about, great people.

The news i see now is like something on a loup.

Same old same old over and over for years on end.

The video is pretty much the most disturbing thing I've ever seen. It's like watching a really weird first person shooter game. Except it's real. He points the gun for a couple of seconds while filming, lowers it, then steps forward and starts firing at point blank range, still filming the reporter's face. Horrendous.

He also appears to miss at first, which i can't understand how is possible.

When i saw the live TV footage i thought the reporter had survived as she had ran away screaming. Then you see his own personal footage and she gets shot a good few times while running away. I don't know why but i always figured if you got shot a few times you'd go straight down.

Cameraman wouldn't have even known anything about it. :(

There was a whole slew o' folk who survived being neck shot during WW2.

You can live without a face it seems. Or a jaw. Or a complete brain

Tojo famously fecked up his suicide, he even got a doctor to mark on his chest where his heart was, shot directly through the mark and all bullets missed his heart.

They hung him instead.

Apparantly falling down after being shot, rather than being involountary, is a conscious decision by the person being shot, caused by our brains being trained that this is the reaction we should take to being shot due to seeing it all the time on tv and in films.

This, then, is only true if a person is aware they have been shot.

QI is a decent programme.
