Duns Fan Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 Terrific game down at Ainslie park last night but unfortunately (beginning to sound like a broken record player now) the referee was the star of the show. Sent off Dougie Brydon for a very bizarre pen decision and yet we got a pen and the spartans guy never got sent off. First one was the uni where the uni player done the most outrageous dive right in front of the ref and got a pen. At that time we were one up and the better team. Last weekends game against Eyemouth luke strangeways got sent off for an off the ball incident...even though he done nothing and the ref's back was turned. Last night brydon gets sent off for the spartans lad kicking him from behind and getting a penalty and a red card. Flip side we got a pen same situation in the second half and the spartans defender didn't get sent off?? A don't want to keep complaining about refs i know they have a hard job but all we want is fair consistent refereeing in the matches is that too much to ask? Your job is to save shots, and until you start doing that, you may be better advised to leave criticisms of the officials to spectators if they must.
