Time for a New Manager at the Glebe?

I firmly believe that once we have our key players back we will start to pick up results and pull away from trouble. On Saturday against Airdrie only one defender (McCormack) is likely to continue with Smith, McLean, Perry and (hopefully) Dyer to come in.

The sooner Dene Shields comes back the better. He looked tremendous in pre-season and will be one of the best players in the league without a shadow of doubt.

Who is this please?

Are yous really that bad ? Is it a case of not having the players or dods not having a clue ?

How is James dale doing btw?

We have a 4/5 key players sitting out injured at the moment and Graeme Smith has been suspended for the last 2 resulting in a rookie keeper being in goal. Once they start coming back in we should see an improvement. However the guys that are playing at the moment look well short of the required standard. We simply haven't replaced the likes of Barr and Trouten. Dods is slow and clumsy having been at fault for several goals and conceded several penalties already this season. The sooner he is able to focus on the management side of things the better.

Dale has been coming off the bench mostly. Euan Smith is getting a game ahead of him, for reasons unknown. Not entirely sure what Smith offers.

Hamilton and Gerry went also - they were solid in our defence. So we lost attacking options and defensive options...oh and our management team went to Raith at a time in the season when players would have been signing up.

McLean, shields, weatherston out and would make a difference. Perry out which means dods is in and making mistakes, whether Perry is better or not we do not know. but Dods is struggling as a player and needs to concentrate on managing. Our midfield is / has been creaking and as such not offering much either going forward or backwards.

Last two games we have had our second choice keeper in and Willie Dyer has just signed so I think still more to come from us but injuries have not helped, see bench on Saturday.

Which players are out.? And only

Losing 2 players in Barr and trouten surely shouldn't make you plummet like you have done

Paul McLean, Ross Perry, David Weatherston and Dene Shields are all out injured currently with Graeme Smith missing the last 2 games through suspension. When fit, all 5 would arguably be in our starting 11. That's no excuse for just how bad we've been so far however.

We obviously lost other big players in the summer, just that Barr and Trouten in particular have never been replaced. They were both match winners. Colin Hamilton, Gerry McLauchlan and Callum Tapping also left who would have been important players for us if they stayed.

EDIT: beaten to it. Cold feet has summed it up.
