Dee Man
I don't think it's as straight forward as that. Are there not normally lawyers involved to go over the contract? It usually takes months. Look at Hartley with us when he signed his extension. United could potentially hijack the deal. I was basing it on the papers saying that TW had already signed his new contract. If the papers say it is so, then it is so.

Quitongo's Left Peg
Did Killie have a good defensive record under Mixu? Nothing special. 36 conceded in 30 games.
Stephen Malkmus
Did Killie have a good defensive record under Mixu? They had a 44% win percentage under him. To put that in perspective, United had a 42% win percentage under McNamara, ICT have 42% under Hughes and Saints have 44% under Wright.

To put that in perspective, United had a 42% win percentage under McNamara, ICT have 42% under Hughes and Saints have 44% under Wright. The win percentage was never really a factor. For years we'd underachieved with Jefferies, and in his latter seasons watched some absolutely terrible football at the same time. The squad was there to push for better, and we needed someone to come in and fix them up basically. Mixu did that, and we played some incredible stuff at times. As I said before, the majority of his signings were awful but we did have the squad there capable of the top six anyway. Eremenko helped hugely too, and for Mixu's style of play to work you need someone pulling the strings like he did. Worth noting too that he only joined because his dad was Mixu's best man and they'd been friends since an early age.

Took on a very young killie side with no money and achieved top 6 with them. Brought in good experience like eremenko etc

RiG
Chris Harvey has just tweeted saying that Mixu has only talked to United. Hughes apparently has permission to speak with them as well. Perhaps the Record have jumped the gun a wee bit here. The plot thickens...
