WendyWho?
Ladbrokes have suspended betting on John Hughes. He's been backed into odds on from 25/1.

Stephen Malkmus
My source tells me Hughes to United is a done deal. Was right about Vigurs signing and some other stuff. Will the Caley Curse strike again?

WendyWho?
Sky Bet still offering him at 3/1 if anyone fancies a holiday, or a new car, or a toastie machine made of diamonds.
WendyWho?
Too late. He's in to 5/4. That said, if you lump on, you're still looking at a very decent, four-toastie Breville number at that price.
Alert Mongoose
Will the toastie machine have a built in safety mechanism that will stop you burning your mouth on the filling despite waiting for 20 minutes?
Bambino7
Would this not be the exact right time to lump on Tommy Wright?
Gibby82
Right good bunch of boys at Tannadice for Hughes to work with.
Bambino7
Right good bunch of boys at Tannadice for Hughes to work with. I think it would be a disaster and they would end up relegated. Hughes can't seem to really handle the pressure at times and it will be on instantly at United. Calley he was allowed to continue Butchers work and Falkirk him and Coyle had nothing to lose. This will be a different kettle of fish.

captainkev
Right good bunch of boys at Tannadice for Hughes to work with. Are they honest as well though? That could be an obstacle for any potential move for Hughes.
WendyWho?
Right good bunch of boys at Tannadice for Hughes to work with. Good, honest boys. However, I reckon he'll need to devote AT LEAST his entire first day to showing them how to put the boiler suits on. Otherwise he'll have the likes of Charlie Telfer running about with his head sticking out a leg hole.

low-life
Hughes would probably be my least preferred option out of Wright, Irvine, Mixu and McCall. Inherited a successful side at ICT and fair play to him for keeping run going but didnt have to rebuild. Had a tough job at Hartlepool who were struggling and didn't manage to turn them round although they were in a really bad place. Would prefer someone with proven record of coming in and shaking things up. On the plus side if he was to come and do well I cant see their being a rush for him. GraemePaynesSocks
Yogi asked ICT for a new contract when United first sniffed about. My guess is that he'll stay at ICT if he's offered a new deal.
