I've now been to 2 LL games this season (Edinburgh City v Gretna and the latest was Cumbernauld Colts v East Kilbride last weekend) and I have to say, from them both, I would be surprised if any of the LL sides have anything to offer in the short term. I would imagine over the years the gap between the top of the LL and the bottom of League 2 will become smaller but I would fancy any SPFL 2 side against any of those 4 teams in a 2 Leg Play Off.

Shouldn't you be more concerned with the fortunes of Mixu the fucking Honeymonster?? Not quite so funny as shitey auld Clyde tumbling, i'd imagine....mind you it'd cheer me up.

I am concerned as the next Arab with our prediciment, I do thik that Jackie getting binned was the best option for the club, however the managerial appointment did not cover us in glory, time will tell if Mixu can get up lifted off the anchor of the Premier, I am not saying what a few Arabs are saying and that it is a false position, we have been rank and deserve to be bottom, Mixu has his work cut out for him and I have (some) faith that the board know what they are doing.

As for Clyde, they still have their former OF inept manager....

I didn't need War And Peace version of Terror's (i point blank refuse to use self-mocking titles) fans' concerns. I couldn't give a f**k about them. Next.

Well you did ask...

My interest in this merely to see if someone will fall through the trap door, as a campaigner for the pyramids far back as 1994 when ICT and Ross County had to be elected in I see this as a good thig for Scottish football as a whole. As stated previously the dross will flush down the drain and others will take the place of those who have faltered.

Or it may rejuvenate clubs who respond to their boot up the arse. I don't see why not, plenty of clubs have slipped into what is now league1 and returned heathier than ever.......Thistle, Ross, Raith, Queens and Morton spring to mind. The farcity was the fact that it appeared to be imposed on clubs who clearly don't want national level.

What is the deal if Cove win the league this season?

http://www.coverangersfc.com/news/latest-news-club-licencing/

The link above from earlier in the months indicates they are progressing with the new stadium but I can't see how it'll be ready in time for next season. I'd assume the Lowland League winner would go straight into the play off against the team who finish bottom of League Two.

Bump.

Few weeks since I last updated this. In the intervening period Brora has reclaimed their place at the summit of HL - albeit with a couple of games more played than Cove Rangers - while in LL the steady march of Stirling Uni has continued... Berwick Rangers, who everyone will agree are too big to go down (which is also unthinkable), plunged to the foot of SPFL2...

who knows who will finish bottom of League Two- could still be any one of eight clubs.

at present the play off to meet the unfortunate 10th side is looking like Cove v Edinburgh City. Edinburgh don't seem as dominant as last year, however.

I know why you're bringing this up Ivo, don't, just don't.
