Edinburgh City have also been pegged-back closer and close in LL - where both Stirling Uni and Spartans will think themselves capable of launching a charge for the championship.

Meanwhile the mighty Wee Gers continue to keep the basement slot warm before passing it on shortly.

Its a joke that clubs with no home ground of their own, Cove and Stirling Uni, could actually get promoted into the senior leagues without having grounds that actually meet SPFL standards - Stirling have had 2 seasons to put something together but are happy to leech of an SPFL club.

And when Berwick do go down at the end of the season its finally time to jettison them from Scottish football and let them play in their own country.

 you'll not get rid of us that easily.

I know. Just imagine Stirling Uni, groundsharing with Stirling Albion, having the temerity to join East Stirlingshire, groundsharing with Stenhousemuir.

(Also - they're already playing in senior leagues, btw, before Jacksgranda and others get upset).

It's a disgrace that clubs can just rent a ground to meet requirements.

Off the top of my head that includes

Dundee

Raith rovers

Falkirk

Livingston

Cowden

The mighty da(top of the league)

Airdrie

East Stirlingshire

Stirling

Clyde

Hamilton

Stranraer.

You'll then have more clubs who have loans secured against there ground, or restrictions on when they can use it ( Forfar for example ground share with the ladies side and that will remain until the plastic is lifted )

Uni and ourselves are sharing a council facility, they're not renting from us.

Is there any interest in joining the Northern League? Berwick could progress to Evostik leagues, maybe higher.

More variety, fa cup and vase entry. Sounds alright to me.

Add Berwick to that list.

How could we play in the FA Cup when we aren't members of the FA and the dates would clash with SPFL games all over the place. I'd far rather play in the Scottish Cup anyway - tradition obviously, plus win a couple of ties and you've reached the all-in stages with potential to play big teams, get TV coverage and exposure, and potentially go on a run. Last season we reached the Quarter-Finals. In the FA Cup, we'd probably get eliminated by some team we've never heard of in the Third Extra Preliminary Round or something like that, after a huge trip to the far end of England.
